Refund & Cancellation

The short version. You only pay after you've heard a free 1-minute preview and approved it. Because the full song is created on demand right after payment, full songs are generally non-refundable — except in the specific cases listed below, where we will refund or replace.

1. Free preview before payment

Every order starts with a free, no-obligation 1-minute preview generated from your brief. If you do not like it, simply close the page or ask us to discard the order — you owe nothing and no card is charged.

2. After payment

Once payment is captured, we begin generating the full song using third-party AI providers. This work is performed specifically for your order and cannot be resold. For that reason, we treat the full song as a custom digital good that is generally non-refundable once delivered.

3. When we refund

We will refund the full amount you paid in any of these cases:

Technical failure on our side. If we fail to deliver the full song within 72 hours of payment and cannot resolve the issue within a further 24 hours.
Major mismatch with the brief. If the delivered song clearly contradicts the core facts you provided (e.g. wrong names, wrong language, wrong gender of vocals when one was specified). In most cases we will first offer a free re-generation; if you prefer a refund instead, we will issue one.
Duplicate charges. If you were accidentally charged twice for the same order.
Unauthorised payment. If a payment was made without your authorisation, please contact us and your card issuer immediately.

4. When we usually do not refund

You changed your mind after approving the preview and receiving the full song.
The recipient's emotional reaction was different from what you hoped for.
Subjective dislike of the voice, melody or arrangement, when these match the style you selected.
The brief you submitted was incomplete or inaccurate, and the song reflects what you actually wrote.

In good-faith cases like a stylistic disappointment, we will often offer a free re-render at our discretion, even when a strict refund is not due.

5. How to request a refund

Email support@songreveal.com within 14 days of delivery. Please include:

your order ID (it appears in the delivery email and on the receipt);
a short explanation of the issue;
where helpful, a screenshot or a link to the file you received.

We respond within 2 business days and process approved refunds within 3 business days. The refund is then returned to your original payment method via Lemon Squeezy and may take a few more days to appear, depending on your bank.

6. Cancellation

You can cancel an order at any time before payment, simply by closing the page or by emailing us. Free previews are discarded automatically.
After payment, the order can no longer be cancelled but it may still qualify for a refund or re-render under the rules above.
SongReveal does not run subscriptions. There is nothing to cancel between purchases.

7. Chargebacks

If something has gone wrong, please email us first — we resolve the great majority of issues directly. Filing a chargeback before contacting us delays the process for everyone, and may lead to a permanent block of future orders from the same payment method.
